A Certain Man Poem by JoAnn McGrath

A Certain Man

Rating: 4.2

A Certain Man

I'm thankful for a certain man
For giving me more than his hand
For teaching me how to love again
Even if he didn't feel the same

Dormant lay my desires cold
Not wanting them to unfold
But just by his words alone
He gave me back what I disowned

An painful as it is to give him back
He gave me something that I lacked
Without a touch or caress
He showed me what I possessed

A new road now I must take
Before this heart of mine may break
I'm thankful for a certain man
I hope that he understands

One can not teach, what is already known, all it takes is a gentle touch and you come into your own, passionate woman with a loving heart of her own... Andy 10
