<≪≪≪≪≪ A Call For A Cause Poem by Abdul Wahab

<≪≪≪≪≪ A Call For A Cause

Rating: 5.0

Come to the field where
Blows only revolutionary wind
Nick time six o'clock tomorrow morning
some of us are going to gather
Who never regard poetry as a private affair
please come without breakfast
here we all take few full morsels of fire
to inscribe words with the letters of flame
in the pages of pain of those
deprived men and women
Binding each line with the rhyme
Of burning hunger of every children
To kindle the seed of justice long buried under
In the lapel of oppression
To weave each couplet in the color red
To make them a delicious revenge
For every murder and teenage rape
Committed on the pink beach of lust and greed
To turn a poem into a handsome anger
For every drop of blood
Falls on the purple shore of war and aggression
