A Bye Gone Is Bye Gone Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Bye Gone Is Bye Gone

Rating: 4.1

I was taken back by many years
They were nice moments of yesteryears
They just emerged before eyes as live show
They made fine imprint with bright glow

I used to be notorious and funny too
I was loved by all that was also equally true
It was very nice to feel among members
It was nice to have spent time and remember

Bye gone is bye gone and has no relevance today
We must keep them before eyes and sincerely pray
We must thank almighty for showing us correct way
We wouldn’t have been comfortable in present day

It flashed in my mind to show how it could have been different?
The things were not going smooth as they looked apparent
It needed a final push with lots of enthusiasm
I could do it with confidence and showing much of optimism

Things turn out to be against us as we make steady progress
It makes strong and bring in position to express
I guessed it was right time for me to grab opportunity and excel
Everything was turning in favor and going very smooth and well

I might have erred in taking the proper judgment or decision
It may not have been perfect or near to the precision
I was confident and so sure of its implementation
I had strong urge for not falling in any temptation

I did what all I could do to carve out my own world
I had pulse of warm feeling and relation never developed cold
It was definitely promise of gentleman that worked perfectly
The tide too was in favor and everything moved smoothly and correctly

It may be of no use if we lament for past and repeat same in present
They are good memories but have no place hence must be kept absent
If we are overwhelmed and carried away by the past experience
It may not only aggravate the situation but trouble us with it s presence

The past memoirs must be kept in dark or back burner
It must work for us as guiding path and as eye opener
We have to learn form the past and go ahead with new out look
The letters and spirit should not be confined to only books

They are rich treasure for us to remember in leisure moments
It need not show any precedence or invite comments
It has to be stored in mind as bye gone years with joy
Every present moment has to be lived with and enjoyed

‘It may be of no use if we lament for past and repeat same in present’… If stay in past and future the present we’ll loose… Swami Vivekananda affirmed us ‘A saint had a past and a sinner has a future’ You’ve encouraged us to Vedic chant Charaivati [march onward] …by the way it is said that natural forgetting is but a catharsis…a vent to protect us a safety valve… Excellent poetry and a psychic booster and remembrencer Ms. Nivedita UK 10/10 PS Sir with humility may I request you to delet a commentless post below mine...as I respect you so saying Sir n
