A Bloodied Hand Poem by Rose Marie Cook

A Bloodied Hand

Rating: 4.5

A sleeping heaven
The voice drolls on
Casting a spell
The night to fall upon you

The smiling face
Greeting your dreams
Casting a lull over the
Problems life can bring

Harbored safe in the
Arms of you, holding on
Just for you the broken
Mirror shattered pieces on the ground

Snow falls all around you
Making not a sound
Sleep drolls on dragging
Through the thoughts

Locked deep within the chest
Of you the dungeon cave
The heart was kept ripped away
Stolen by the bloodied hands of a

One and Only True Love.
