A Birthday Wish Poem by Ruth Kuttler

A Birthday Wish

Rating: 5.0

It's a time to remember, to cherish and cheer
For the day of your birth only comes once a year.
A candle each year to make wishes come true
As loved ones and friends come to celebrate you.

They call you or visit; some in spirit above
Bring riches of peacefulness, laughter and love.
Some come bearing stories of you as a star;
This news that they share of how special you are.

In the sun, rain and clouds, only goodness comes through
In the words that you say and the things that you do.
Rejoice in these gifts that make you sublime;
This difference in you leaves a ripple in time.

Indulge and enjoy; choose your pleasures your way
Let these memories stay with you and brighten each day.
As you cherish this birthday with dreams that come true
Keep these blessings and love as you celebrate you.
