A Bird's Life Poem by Aprajita Rana

I see them and I wonder how,
Their life is such a wow! !
With no tension and no fear,
For them the great sky is so near.
In water when they dive,
I wish to live that wonderful life.
I wish to fly up, up and away,
Just like they do everyday.
Birds their life is so much fun,
Restrictions they have none.
Majestic Eagle, Magical swan,
Wise owl or cute penguin!
Rollers, Robins, Jays and Barbets,
Parrots, Penguin or the one eating bee
Any of them I’d love to be.
But right now I can only dream,
And say how beautiful their world seems!
I am just a human without any powers,
Who can fly only in a fast car.
