A Better Place Than Grief Poem by Allyson Gordon

A Better Place Than Grief

Rating: 5.0

She puts petals on the grave
Of her loved one just passed
This is her time of grief
A month has gone so fast

Her memories lie dormant
Just waiting to rise
All she wants is the truth
So sick of all the lies

Her tears start of fall
As she drifts into sleep
She dreams of a better place
And in her mind this pleace shall keep
