A Beautiful Woman Poem by Patrice James

A Beautiful Woman

Rating: 5.0

A strong Woman and wise
A woman to lean and trust,
Holding me against her
so warm and sweet.
I am her secret admirer.

She gathered my soul, holding it tight,
I felt so safe, so desired, so Loved,
The world was my play ground
with no trouble and strife.

Then came the wind, she came to my life.
But now the storm of disease, taking her from me,
breath to breath. My heart shattered her
Strength waned, but she said fought a good fight.

I feel her fear as Cancer grows.
there will be tears and pain but
She will live forever in my heart.
