When i am gone, will you still remember me?
Will you dream of me in your sleep
And hold that soft pillow so tight?
When I am gone, I will always remember you
That's a promise I hold on through
Because I love you...♥ ♥ ♥
I gave you the best years of my life
I shared with you my pains, my joys and laughter
I know this will make you to remember me
I will be your guiding star in the night
That keeps you going in the early morn
Weep not, my dear heart, but remember me when I am gone
What a beautiful piece, its so soft and gentle. The thing I loved it was so lyrical and speaks of a pure love. Great write.
In your heart beats passion, love and unforgettableness. Your love will forever bloom in his heart and anybody else whose had pleasure to get to know you. In the wintertime roses bush loses their beautiful petals and their leaves turn brown. and if you ask someone to describe that rose flower long after the petals has fallen . The first thing that well come to their mind is the beautiful unforgettable summer days of their youth. The second thing they will remember is how the light use to play of the roses beauty. The third thing is they will make a wish to just too have one last look at its beauty. Thank you Sweetie for the most beautiful read, Hugs of love~*~ Randy
Hi Meggie - This is a beautiful poem - perfectly structured - four balanced triplets - full of pathos. I score it a TEN on all counts. Some times Angel - it is only when someone goes that we really apreciate them - they fill our dreams - they metamorphise into our pillow. V 2 Thanks for that promise Meggie - love does last beyond the grave and in paradise our loved ones not only remember us but still love us. If only we could see love we would know that we are all cacooned in love in Heaven as on Earth - LOVE NEVER FAILS. V 3 In a loving relationship - we give everything - we share everything - we receive everything - this is hebais of our eternal rememberance. Night time is a time for reflection - for remembering and also for the hugging of pillows. It reasures me to know that sometime in the future when the contact wit PH is severed - for whatever reasons - you will still be my faithful guide and protector in the night. The very thought of your presence with me in the lonely night makes the future bearable. thanks for sharing. Love you lots in Poetry JOHN.
