9.5 Ivan Pagonov Solving The Evolution Cipher

Run to him!
Stop them!
He solved it, the evolution cipher.
He stole it from a CERN lab last night.
It took him no second to start,
we, ourselves, worked for him – to our doom.

As of now, Atonement
- for the planet, just this once, not us –

Stop the walking whale,
stepping over our houses,
dripping on our gardens with blue water.

Stop the flying tiger,
overtaking our crafts to put them to shame,
sacking off their needed air under its wings.

Stop the talking boa,
scrambling our latest important tech conversations,
claiming we ain’t unique.

Stop the limping featherless, wingless bird,
currently forming its shape like Europe,
askew spine like Russia and Germany together,
front boots like Italy,
back big-foot legs like Greece,
swollen neck like Spain and France along,
thin head like Britain, detached,
diving without branchia, to go under Africa and push it up
to its Resurgence for the new evolution era.

Stop the four-interchanging-coloured chameleonic human,
deconstructing racism,
our last rampart (after the sleep of religion) to rule and be ruled,
just before Anarchy decomposes human matter.

Run to him! Stop them now!
[Who? Us? You go! ! ! ]

Ivan Pagonov whips in delirium behind these new animals,
holding the cipher with his left.
Miss Tatiana Naturova weeps, ready to wear the ring and a flower wreath.

Mount Everest opens up and an one-eyed branch peeps out through /
