9/11 Poem by Serena Silenced

9/11

Rating: 4.0

9/11- we know the date so well.
It was the day the Twin Towers fell.
Terrorists took control of our own airplanes.
Suicidal maniacs- they lit the towers up in flames.

Fingers pointing everywhere- but who is really to blame?
You have awakened the sleeping tiger- now our world will never be the same.
It’s a war on terror - but we have terrorists here at home.
Send our boys back - leave them to their own.

Fingers pointing everywhere- but who is really to blame? A good question. Everybody should scratch his head to find an answer.
