87 Miles Poem by Andy Salisbury

87 Miles

87 miles lay between you and me,
Me in my garden room and you by Bournemouth sea,
87 miles to a treasure that I have found,
A treasure of sun and sharing surely will abound,
87 miles to a beauty who has touched my mind,
gifted in everyway and definitely one of a kind
87 miles every one I'd walk your way,
Just the thought of you brightens up my day
87 miles transcended by our words,
flying between us like a spectacular flock of birds.
87 miles to you Michele Hegarty,
and from that distance you have enchanted me.
