For the first time, I noticed, a playful Willow shade pass before me

Spilling over the smooth mossy edge
Another river pool fills with cool bubbling waters

As falling Alder leaves spinning in the wind
Wave and weave as a gesture of ease
to my days excess


I am reminded to trust
