.6. End This Pollution Poem by David Threadgold

.6. End This Pollution

Rating: 5.0

Pollution, pollution
Is there no solution
We all breathe it in
With so little dilution

Ozone holes poking
Chimneys keep smoking
The youngest of children
Are coughing and choking

Hope needs a ray
Please show us the way
To stop the polluters
By making them pay

Endless dumped waste
Got rid of in haste
Polluting the earth
In our food we can taste

The rubbish we eat
In our veg’s and meat
Transferring the rot
That our bodies can’t beat

There’s no point in pretending
Hear this message I’m sending
Before it’s too late
This pollution needs ending
