# 6 Poem by B. Sven Telander

# 6

Past trees and long brick walls she ambles
through glittering mist toward far corridor,
but vision’s trail is left in black shambles
and softer inside, waits her dark paramour.
In vortex they meet, bow, and then dance
through quick twilight until dawn breaks;
vapor consumes him in tones of circumstance;
she freezes all tears before her heart quakes.

Spiraling force that only pure will propagates,
maelstroms of human nature, the only chaperone;
mining infinite chambers when love excavates
a mythic kiss on mind’s thin walls left alone.
On the scales of caring and contempt,
none- not even the dead- are exempt.
