I would like to feel the sunshine
On my weather beaten face
To touch your velvet evening gown
Its collar trimmed with lace
I would like to see the swallow
Catching flies and swooping low
To follow kestrels as they hunt
And find out where they go
I would like to taste the Beaujolais
From barrels iron bound
To savour well done sirloin
Showing griddle lines well browned
I would like to hear a symphony
That no one’s heard before
To sense those good vibrations
Just for pleasure nothing more
I would like to speak in different tongues
By knowing what words do
To use the senses I posses
And share them all with you
