.5. Sickly Bunch Poem by David Threadgold

.5. Sickly Bunch

Rating: 5.0

Our spotted dogs have measles
The cats are chasing fleas
Hamsters all get dizzy spells
And mice have gone off cheese

Our budgies never talk no more
The parrots have a stutter
Tortoise seem to sleep all day
And miner birds just mutter

Our goldfish just can’t hold their breath
The rabbits never hopping
Chameleons have lost themselves
And hairy things need cropping

Our snakes keep jumping out their skins
The pigmy goats stand tall
Pot bellied pigs all went to pot
And chipmunks only crawl

Our pets don’t seem to sell to well
The shops now in recession
I called the vet the other day
Cos our stock all have depression
