.4. Stumbling Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Stumbling

I’ve seen the mighty stumble
Watched the chaos when they fell
Thinking that they knew it all
But only time would tell

Each mistake made mountains
Whilst they strove to reach the peak
The more they tried the more they failed
In mistaken hide and seek

On troubled waters oil was poured
With bridges they could cross
But oil burned all their bridges
And the stones were full of moss

The moral of this story is
Please listen for the grumbles
Don’t ever burn your bridges
For mistakes cause mighty stumbles

And a great moral that is Dave - no-one knows it all and never will. I know what I am giving you for this one though a big, fat ten....10 Kind wishes from Fay.
