.4. Hidden Talents Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Hidden Talents

Rating: 5.0

Many have vast hidden talents
Others have nothing that shows
Some throw their socks in a cupboard
Or lay them all out in neat rows

Talents can be what you make them
Fashioned by passage of time
Many a hill some would challenge
Whilst others have mountains to climb

Unhidden talents are useful
But must be brought out to the fore
To let others feed from their knowing
And all can acquire so much more

Don’t leave them under a bushel
When hidden it leaves them confused
Forgotten where no one can find them
Well learnt but they never get used
