.4. Blinded By Colour Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Blinded By Colour

Calm colours soothe you
Whilst resting in bed
The shop offered peach
But instead I took red

Blues can be cold
They give you a chill
The shop offered yellow
But black filled the bill

Creams are a neutral
They’re easy to clean
The shop offered rose
But instead I bought green

I like blending colours
It’s easy I find
The shop offered nothing
Because I’m colour blind

Lovely poetic lines about a simple topic like colours which represent our life...Thanks David.
