4 Am Poem by YURI DURAAN

4 Am

Rating: 2.5

In the early hours
I whisper my secrets to you
my lips against your temples

You lay with your eyes closed
to my desires
You dont's answer...
your only response your
breathing in the dark

This is how you protect yourself
against my revelations of love
so that you don't have to give
what you cannot...

and I continue whispering
my lips against your temples
against your heart
against
nothing

Your romantic poems...all are really breathtaking....taking the reader to another world....something...the feeling I am unable to express. I must wait to have it atleast once in lifetime. kudos

This one, Yuri, especially hits close to home...it is the essence of why I write poetry and to explain it would not do it justice...it is beautiful...Coach

I very much enjoyed your translated poems. They are usually vivid and moving and this was no exception.
