337. Poem by Jaden Knight

337.

You cannot convince everyone of your worth
there is no need to try
if others decide to run away let them
they don't understand your value

It is pointless to convince others of your beauty
when they are blinder than a headless worm
those who see don't need to be told
as they already appreciate it in silence

I have seen your worth where others have failed
I have observed your beauty on countless occasions
I appreciate you not just in silence
but with a voice loud and clear
am not ashamed if others find out

No one can be important to everyone
but you are more than that to me
please remember when most turn their backs
I open my ears and arms to you
