You evoke the heritage of the ancient Greeks with genuine appreciation. This is a genuine homage to that ancient confidence in the power of poetry to carry inspired truths from one realm of being to another. And we really need that faith in inspiration in our troubled century. I was initially wondering about the identity of these three female poets, and surprise! they're fellow poets at POEMHUNTER. I have encountered some comments by both Valerie and the Electric Lady but not their poems. The peer recognition at the heart of this poem is something we poets need to confirm and encourage our continued efforts. Kudos to you for your generosity of spirit to 3 GREAT GIRLS

This is really great, and though I only know Val, she is such a great person who writes such beautiful poems! So, I agree, wholeheartedly!

This is a wonderful poem because it offers the right kind of encouragement to other writers. You don't overstate the case but associating them with the Graces is both a commendation for what they already achieved and a challenge about what they can achieve further. I'm expressing this awkwardly because I haven't thought my reaction, but I just needed to respond immediately with my affirmation of what your'e doing in this poem.
