.3. Giant Size Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Giant Size

Rating: 5.0

I’ve swung by rope over vast rivers
Climbed up all the tallest of trees
Until I found a much bigger thing
That brought me back down to my knees

Far bigger than a great mountain
That could erupt with such a force
But I couldn’t swing down or climb it
Because I’m in casualty of course

The doctors all came in to see it
Saying by young lad that does look rum
Strapped me face down on a trolley
Extracting wood splinters from bum

That'll teach you David. You can't beat nature.! ! ! ! ! ! You were obviously a 'sitting' target. Lovely piece of humour, well written. Loved it. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
