2b Enough - Poem by Joe Brown

Lonely distant shivers
Grinding digits
Deadlines, diseases
Noise, stand straight.

Square feet forward, Stumble
Body left behind
Cardboard hands
Shuffling mind

Like a bird with one wing
Round and round
Dizzy sick
Merry go, merry go

Painful smile, hold the smile
Glaring camera
Guilty as accused no hiding
6 foot 2

I love you.
