2B Enough

Lonely distant shivers
Grinding digits
Deadlines, diseases
Noise, stand straight.

Square feet forward, Stumble
Body left behind
Cardboard hands
Shuffling mind

Like a bird with one wing
Round and round
Dizzy sick
Merry go, merry go

Painful smile, hold the smile
Glaring camera
Guilty as accused no hiding
6 foot 2

I love you.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,

The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
