Very interesting Haiku's indeed Herbert, you definitely do have the syllable count spot on. Haiku is one of my favourite forms of poetry, I see these Haiku's are contemporary rather than traditional. I like the change, I find a touch of humor in some, some of a rather serious nature, all in all they're very good. --Melvina--

dandruff, polka, Pope, and Library of Congress-these four brought a smile.
you do get the syllable counts right, but sometimes your haiku seems the foreplay of a limerick.
