21 Again

A year
or so
after the
Aliens landed
on Earth
I got a letter.

It was
from my
medical centre.
'Please drop in
and see us
soon as possible.'

I did and
there was an
incredible machine.
I am 62 and
after 3 treatments
on the Alien contraption...

I was 21 again.

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Kind solace in a dying hour!
Such, father, is not (now) my theme-
I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
