I've seen love before
And it's as easy as blowing cool air onto a hot cup of tea
Or as turbulent as sneakers tossing around in a clothing dryer
As each week passed, images of our happy place became farther away
Right now, I need my phone to ring more than I need my next meal
More than I need the sun in my life
I wish I didn't have that stinging need to be in your arms when I close my eyes
But maybe if I didn't, that would prolong the inevitable seperation
