2010/03/08 Disastrous Day Poem by Margaret Alice

Oh, disastrous day, first lost document
to be returned to client, attending class -
codes and formulae, diacritic signs and
track changes called by a new name

Just when I had the cedilla down pat, alt
and 1,3,5 – now quick reference guide
fonts called ‘Liberation sans sérif’ and
‘Déja vu sérif’ – I’m confused

Columns subtracting by themselves, each
time I touch the key the formula sign is gone,
I did it wrong, then my computer froze, my
brain followed suit…
