What happens to a relationship deferred
Are raisins involved
Does it pick up where it left off
Does it acknowledge the inbetweenness of my heart
Wanting answers
Without asking questions
Wondering if a certain sadness means progression
And no distractions
Meaning a regular day
With regular smiles and regular laughs
Not too much
Oh heaven forbid that
Don't let my life be seasoned with your charm
Decked with your guiding words
Sprinkled with your touches
My ego says end the chapter
While my heart says hope isn't
To be given up on
Still I lead this train of thought
Train of peace
Train of feelings
No conductor
