2 A.M. Poem by Death's Shadow

It's 2 a.m.
and I'm sitting here
all alone in this world
ever since you left me.

we say we wont give up
wont let her tear us apart
but as you ask what i wanna do
i hear the distance in your voice.

By 3 a.m.
the tears just wont stop
as i lay in this bed and remember
the way your arms felt when you held me.

It's 4 a.m.
and I'm still awake
writing you this letter but
I guess all I need to say is I love you.
