i conceal the time i stare at the stars
cant allow the world to discover my love for them
cities shine there lights to dim my loves brightness
but i still steal glimpses..
i wonder if it ever knows that i think
that i dream that i wish upon it
that my hopes revolve around them
my day consist of pain, time slowly taking my life away
minutes churning to decay my essence that fights to stay
inprinted in the wind.. sketched in the flowing water
ashes that refuse to burn to sucum to dirt..
my element hides in love.. i have transfered my love to the stars..
and even if a lifetime seperates us... nothing is ever to far.. nothing can tear us apart...
yes i conceal the times i wish
this world destroys dreamers
i hold my breath in tunels
toss coins in fountains
blow candles in secrecy
cause i cant share with this ugly world the love that lives in me.
love that i share with you
grant me one wish..
tonight shine brighter then before to let me know
you love me too.
