Noticing something strange
Happening beneath my roof
Wakened from sleep
Yet couldn't fight the slumber,
To drag myself downstairs and find what's it!

Wriggled hard to pat my hubby and alert him too.
Oh my! I couldn't even touch him!
It's really a weird feeling to be known
That my soul isn't in my flesh,
What's it? Am I no more alive is my query.

In no time my hubby thrown his hands around
Pulling me closure to his heart, whispered
'I love you Queeny, Love you so much!
This did awoke me from this ghastly Dream.
Breathed for a while and turned to him:

My man quivered to say that he saw a horrific dream:
That I was slain in a wedding!
This very thought of losing me forever
Triggered the chords of his heart to spell
'I LOVE YOU'
For the first time without my vogue.

And I love it forever and ever!
This is for you my dear love!

To be loved by a husband is natural...! A wife knows that he loves her! Yet when this love is pronounced loud, it is a joy and it turns into a living memory! Though your husband said this on waking up from a nightmare, it was a loud affirmation of his love.... A catchy write Queeny!

very dramatic dream, love is love in real, reel, or dream. every lines speaks your inner longings. i believe dreams are just our unfulfilled desires, or deep hidden fears or traumas or some unusual things lingers in our subconscious mind, dreams are just our dream, some we could remember some we couldn't, depends on the intensity, on the whole i really enjoyed, like to try like your poem, its an inspiration, may god bless you dear poet, keep rocking. thanks for the invitation, love you take care. keep sharing.

Yes, dear Sir! This dream is so dramatic that it shook our hearts for a while. we could breath ease after realizing it as a horrible nightmare that evoked us from our inner solitude.

Is it real or a dream? We have not yet known the facts about dreams. Why we dream? There are many theories behind dreams.Perhaps you both were under some fear of separation that triggered such a dream.Your bonding is too deep and so mental vibrations might have effected such a dream. But you found your love back Lovely poem Queeny, thanks for sharing.

Dear Ma'am, we know not the reasons behind this dream. Yet I feel so happy that my dear hubby who loves me so much but not expressive has got a time to express his love for me in tears. What I believe my God made my man to open up his mouth and be expressive with me! Thanks for your lovely comment dear ma'am!

In every line your turn of thought rings true. As Buddy Bee Anthony noted in his comment on your poem BORDERS, there is a beating heart writing. That is especially true in this narration of two dovetailing nightmares experienced by you and your husband. You both emerge from your nightmares of separation at the same moment, when you find that you are lying next to each other after all. This is an eloquent testimony to how your inner lives are interwoven.

First of all, I thank you Sir. It is my honor to see you recognize the beating heart behind my writing. One of my relatives asked me not to step into the shoes of protagonist for there is every chance that the reader may think that I selfsame experienced the situation. With respect to the present poem, I wrote my real life experience. But in some poems like I am She and Anamika I spoke for women especially in India who are being molested at home and outside, Thank you for your insightful comments dear Sir!
