15 Things I Want
I want to decide what I do
Not hide behind you
I want to laugh and be happy
Not sad and blue
I want to be with my family the whole day through
And I want to be with my friends to
I want to walk on the beach
And keep my goals in reach
I want to walk in the door
And not be sad anymore
I want to kiss you in the moonlight
And hold you through the night
And I want it to feel right
But above all these things I want to do
I want to come home
And not feel all alone with you.
Sounds as though there may be a little controlling by someone in this poem. You are right, you need your space and so does he. Stand true to your goals and reach out for them. Good write.
