14-02-07 Poem by Petra Soliman

14-02-07

You treat me like a rose,
You hold me like a diamond,
You look at me like perfection,
You talk to me like an angel,
You take my breath away.

Before it's too dark and cold,
Can't we sit and talk about our fire?
Before it gets dramatic,
Can't we fall asleep in each others' arms?

You fight away my enemies,
You control my anger,
You wipe away my tear drops,
You beautify me,
You make me feel so touched.

Before we go abit far,
Let's make a toast to our eternal love,
Before we dream away,
Let's fall down and stare at the stars,
The stars I have wished upon for a year,
A year, my love, a year that can never,
Ever, be over.
