It's lonely here.
Though I am surrounded by people everywhere I go
I am lonely.
I'm tired here.
Though I sleep through the winds and the ice and the thousand storms
I am exhausted.
When will it end?
I've been waiting for years for my life to get off to a good start
I want it to stop.
Where is the laughter?
I smile through the day and pretend this life is liveable.
But I can't find my happiness.

I've been running through the cold and trying to find warmth but nowhere that I go can help warm up my heart.

I've been hiding from the thunder in a makeshift little room and I can still hear screaming, hoping I can stop soon.
