*100 Amazing Alphabet Poem by Juan Caballero

The classroom was in darkeness
All doors and windows shut
Suddenly the alphabet said
I feel in arut.
My letters are all fighting
They sadly can't agree
A & B get on quite well
But both of them hate C.
The reason is - said B to A
C always turns to me her back
Its very very plain to see
That basic manners C does lack.

C was sad and spoke to D
Who always saw her smiling face
I'm shaped like that to start off CAT
And CAPE and Care and CASE.
That's right said E and F and G
'ip 'ip'ooray lets shout
Excuse me please E, f and Gs
Said H - don't dropp me out.
Up spoke I - I quite like J
When somone's ILL - J makes them JILL
But then comes K - in for the KILL

I'm useful on my own said L
When people learn to drive a car
Without me stuck on back and front
They won't get very far.
M said I can make An a MAN
But N & Osaid NO
Just mind your Ps & Qs said R
You're quite alike you know.
S & T remarked with glee
We stand together as a SAINT
Said U & V we too agree
For UV light has no constraint.

W a Siamese Twin
Named for two Us but like two Vs
Why should that be asked X of ZEE
Give me an explanation please.
More easily ZED than done said ZED
Not always what they seem are things
X marks the spot but is unknown
Another letter mystery brings.

Some say Hi and some say NO
Please wtach your Ps & Qs
Here comes ST Peter & ST Paul
Be careful with the words you use.
Although some letters come in pairs
And UV light is very bright
Most letters like to be alone
The Oxford Dictionary their delight.
Some letters get a whole volume
Letters like S & T & C
While poor old X starts very few
As Scrabble Players will agree.

Each letter's individual - and
Like people - like to be alone
The Dictionary gives then that
As also does the 'Book of Phone'.

Please give each letter full respect
We need them to express our muse
And next time you compose a poem
Please every letter try to use.
