~ Distance ~

Distance never separates two hearts that really care,
for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there.

Distance, it is a test of love, many will fail,
but for those who can withstand it have the answer: true love.

Distance between two hearts is not an obstacle;
rather a great reminder of just how strong true love can be.

There is a saying, 'Out of sight, out of mind.'
But how can that be true?
You are not here, yet I can't get you out of my mind.

Distance is not the thing that makes us suffer,
it's missing someone that's always in your mind
that really makes you suffer.

Though there may be many miles between us,
with each heartbeat we are that much closer
to being in each other's arms again.
