081. An Elephant And A Kangaroo Poem by Jaden Knight

081. An Elephant And A Kangaroo

An elephant and a kangaroo
while playing snooker
caught the flu
a shark who owned a golden slipper
was beaten at golf
by a giant kipper

A vicious pineapple
was eaten by a tree
half way through
his shopping spree
the oak became a submarine
who’s ear got knighted by the queen

The bold fig tree
walking his dog
blinded his hair
in sleet and fog

A silver wasp
who played the fool
was attacked by melons
on his way to school

The dwarf lemon fish jumped up
and beat the wild beam
but now the nose has faded
so no more can be seen

as for the comment left by douglas scotney: my second wife rediculous, came between surreal and fantasy. fantasy was my favorite, but she tired of me. : ( bri

favorite lines so far: A vicious pineapple was eaten by a tree half way through his shopping spree followed closely by: A silver wasp who played the fool was attacked by melons on his way to school i watched a copper wasp get attacked by cucumbers once, but this story of yours is hard to believe! bri :)

I'm thinking of a connection between fantasy and surreal and what might turn one into the other.
