i took the ribbon off the box
with my name written in love
tear off the wrapper to reveal
gold bracelet with your initial
i pull you towards me for kiss
you look me into my eyes; wait
you put your fingers into my lips
whisper something not to forget
i will never; you’re really sweet
i wear on my arm, so pretty, neat
i love the tiny dangle; heart shape
two of them; i will proudly keep
