lone eagle up a pine tree
wings spread, staring at me
my tribe line up the dirt road
they are so happy; i undertsood

we walk through shower of flowers
giggles, laughter, cheers and whispers
i raised my arms and bow with pride
i kow then they're on my side

in the long house the elders talk
the upcoming journey to the north
who will be left to tend for kids
and protect the village from raids

i will stay to be with you
i hope you loving it too
one thing i will be the chief
that's my dream; i surely keep
