puppy quietly sits with friend
maybe waiting for attention
a little hand reaching out
with piece of bread to wide
open mouth with wiggling tail
she doesn't eat; lay on sand
little feet walks around almost
losing balance; puppy following
like chicks follow their mother
wonderful how creature bonds
she gives her hug; she licks back
tickling her face and she giggles
