041210e Unruly Populace

placards of names and pictures
of missing victims are plastered
on every available space on wall
flowers are drop, prayers are said
many weeping friends and relatives
converge in every corner of town

looters start to ransack stores for food
breaking windows, doors, whatever
their hands can get into, it’s chaos
some are very adventurous stealing
beds, radios, television, fans, stereos
there’s no electricity and water too
