035. Kolkata Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

035. Kolkata

Rating: 5.0

More beautiful to display, nothing has the Earth.
Such romantic beauty, a beauty lover drink must.
Never did I see such wonderful sight.
In the morning, dressed with calmness and peace,
With ornaments - palaces, temples, churches and towers,
The city looks like a high born romantic lass.
Each and every part is bright and glittering
In the new born pure and holy sunshine.

On land or oceans ne'er did the sun shine so beautifully.
The Ganges' weaves dance with its unheard melody.
So touching, so charming, so romantic never I felt
When the gentle breeze carries the sound of the Temple's bell.
Being very tired, seem asleep the city and houses.
For ever the beauty flashes upon my inward eyes.

Kolkata, India.
