031510a Daylight Savings Time

you, almost totally invisible today
on my right is drape with darkness
interrupted by occasional flash
when i came to the bridge, i see
thousand glitters on your ripples
from lamps lining the highway

incoming car lights are blinding
i have to wear my sunglasses
yes, this daylight savings time
keep me from enjoying your beauty
i could imagine you're still kissing
shore with your bubble tip tongue

i could hear the slaps on ship's hull
telling them to move out of your way
your long arms pulling the sand away
down deep where nobody could be
when i open my window i could smell
the salty breeze that coated my shell
