we are walking by the beach
watching these girls selling trinkets
some are very artistic in nature
cheap, affordable and wearable
very smart, knows who's buying
me i'm there enjoying, passing

i heard a caribbean drumbeats
we were like zombies searching
a place to have a seat or stand
they are selling cd's, bargain
everybody is moving to the beats
so do i, why not, i'm loving it

kids roller blading plug to music
detach from reality, very far away
they have world of their own, i envy
fun loving people, why can't be all
i guess we venture so far, turn back
eat some more before we pack
