012409a Calmness Rest Poem by Manonton Dalan

012409a Calmness Rest

breaks of morn is quiet
palms bow their leaves
tired from yesterday
collected few sunlight
between candlelight
vessel of calmness rest

few gazes brush top
purse lips and a sigh
trickle of salty drips
from loving eyelids
palms clasp on chest
whisper on their feet

brave fingertips reach
left mark faded; wet
murmurs of prayers
caress lonely beats
battle done for now
v for hungry beast
