Poem by Sujeet Kumar Vishwakarma

Rating: 3.0

(Need not search for stage play anywhere, since we are in the modern world. Just look in any direction around, you will sure find some stage play)

(All the men & women are busy acting out their role, ignoring their conscience, they all have gotten into habit of smiling and laughing, and suffering the unjust.)

(Hey lord! I request you, please donot come to the earth in this era, as there is no regard people have for you, all the celebrations are done out of reasons, and not in your honor.)

(Men and Women are all alike, they wear similar, behave similar. All the lifestyle has become western, In what way is it My Country? The world has started following greed, all people are governed by money matters, I wonder on whom in this era, do they have so much of faith.. that they behave this way.)

(There are Big buses Red and Green in colour (DTC Low Floor Buses) , carrying people like grains in the sack, people here live like goats, roam like them and even eat like them(wherever they find food) . Now the regard for guardians and friends has gone down, they have forgotten the sense of belongingness, just in their crave to belong to this city)

(Some people own Huge Property, and some live in thrift, Tulsi sees this contradiction living togather. He cherishes and gets happy on seeing a rich man's child, but curses the lord, as soon as he gets to see a poor man's hut.)

Some hard to adjust to truths told so poetically. Reads Political in manner, and has an angry tone that supports the unjust feeling you may have wanted to present. Also that maybe life has become monotonous! A great deal of blame going on, instead of holding those doing the injustice accountable! That's my take anyway. Excellent expression!
