Every mirror tells a tale,
My mirror is a memory I do not wish to tell

Eery reflection has a story yet to be told,
...

And should i not wake do not greave,
For the crimson red upon my sleave
Is there not because of some mistake,
The tear in my armour is not as bad,
...

It came from her but within myself too,
She gave me that quiet confidence boost,
Just simple words and the odd I love you,
But that smile, it made up for the most,
...

I murdered a couple more today.

No one can see me, trace my DNA,
Not a soul yet has figured out how to end my killing spree.
...

I would give you the universe and all its swirls of mystery,
capture up the planets and all that vast majestic beauty,
but they are nothing i can afford, being a poor man, me,
instead all i can give is my battered and bloody heart of love,
...

i leave a mark on the world cus it left one on me,
im no longer a boy, a man to be,
Teenage years squandered on living,
A life i dont wish to live,
...

tender feet do follow the path,
of decisions choice and the aftermath,
we stumble through life, on collision course,
following the river, right from source,
...

Death is subtle in his deception,
I thought he was coming...
he disappoints,
Yet again the attempt fails,
...

A wish, a dream, an epiphany or thought,
Create the dream, let it be sought,
Make the wish true, free your mind,
You never know what you might find,
...

Upon making new friends,
you tend to forget, the ones upon you depend,
Those old ones who have always been there,
All those combined memories that you share,
...

I've got mixed signals man,
My heads messed up now, damn,
Im angry and upset yet again,
My brother, role model, the man I aspire to be,
...

our bejebus hu art in devon,
hallowed b thy fame,
thy pizza will come,
slightly over done,
...

If we met again in three years down the lane,
Would our hearts beat the same?
will we show love with hands entwined like we did?
Forgetting all rational thought for our Id.
...

I forgive you father for you have sinned,
Forsaking your son and then your twins,
You swallowed too much! , yet not enough,
Acting too 'hard' because your 'tough',
...

I wait now for you, to make up your mind,
But I do it gladly, as girls like you are hard to find,
Witty and pretty, sexy but smart,
Only you girl, hold the key to my heart
...

from the beginning we were betrayed,
our sense of humour, mental age,
seemed so perfect, but no, not to be,
it all changed when we met reality.
...

To have love is to have hate
a funny phrase my friend said to me.
Hate contains the prefix of hate
love has the suffix,

The Best Poem Of Phil Whittaker

Broken Images, Distorted Views

Every mirror tells a tale,
My mirror is a memory I do not wish to tell

Eery reflection has a story yet to be told,
They say the mirror never lies, but that's all my mirror ever sold

Look Into the reflective piece of glass, that mirror, pool or lake,
Gaze into the lie and realise that it's fake

Oh you look so classy in the mirror, but take a look inside,
Your body spins a different song, there's things your eyes can not hide,

Now I use a different mirror, one that doesn't lie,
Mirror Mirror in the sky, look down in judgement from up high

Give me the facts, tell me the truth,
Strip away the layers of lies, right back to my youth,

The image I see in the mirror is not good enough, it just won't do,
The person starring back is perfect, but I'm just not you.
