Peter Hans Poems

“Outside, the wind flows as the river
Arrows shoot down, drawn from the quiver
Colliding with them, missing by chance
Their bodies spin in the endless dance”

Sit.
Stand.
Run.
Breath.
...

High rises is the day
When one can learn to say
How we feel from where we are
About ourselves, our inner star.
...

For shall I sleep,
so much like a sloth,
under the sky.
...

Delicious are the choices we make
Savory nectar
Dripping from a silver spoon
Nectar we take from the Earth

A Dance Of Rain

“Outside, the wind flows as the river
Arrows shoot down, drawn from the quiver
Colliding with them, missing by chance
Their bodies spin in the endless dance”

“Beginning to accelerate no thought to stop
Muscles ache, time moves, never choosing to drop
Arrows strike, yet not pain, but feelings of bliss
Wind throwing itself, scattering arrows, just to miss”

“Light aluminates the sky
The thunder roars, bellowing high
Laughter comes with this show from the storm
Seeing at each other faces not the norm”

“Sound vibrates, pushing out the storms power
Knowing no time, the storm lasts every hour
Hearts racing fast, keeping the beat
Staying close, feeling the other, and the heat”

“Black clouds ever looming
Lightning cracks, its thunder booming
Excitement, hands held tight together
They hold the fears of the other”

“Arrows falling harder, returning to their birth
Crash down, all about, into the Earth
Careless, their shadows continue the dance innocently
Water flows beneath their toes, tingles pleasantly”

“Sky cries, tears of its joy
Wind steadies, sun shines from the decoy
They see tears, not their own
Heavens show colors of the unknown”

“Calm, stillness, placid controls all
Clouds part, giving goodbye rainfall
Silence is their conversation, observing, still
Appalled they hold together, loving real”

“The storm moves on, more love to renew
Black clouds ever drifting, wind waving ‘adieu’
While past love remains, linger still does the rain
Emotion rousing, the gratitude from escaping the pain”
